Mary Jane specializes in applied machine learning, economic modeling, and data engineering. Leveraging her quantitative expertise, she analyzes data and constructs models for diverse projects, providing data-driven insights for the firm’s clients. Her skills are valuable for conducting quantitative core competency assessments, economic impact studies, workforce analyses, and other evaluations.

At TEConomy Partners, Mary Jane’s research and analysis encompasses a broad spectrum of technologies with potential to drive economic growth across various fields. She employs a range of strategies such as input-output modeling, statistical inference, optimization, topic modeling, and cluster analysis to research innovation drivers of economic growth and develop impactful recommendations.

Before joining TEConomy Partners, Mary Jane held several internships and positions with government agencies, development non-profits, and universities. Working directly with the types of organizations that comprise much of the firm’s client base provides her with an insider’s perspective on their needs and challenges. She gained practical experience researching economic health and development in a variety of localities.

Mary Jane has an M.S. in Public Policy and Management with the Data Analytics pathway from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University.
